TIRAMISU
Ingredients:
500 g Mascarpone Cheese
3 Eggs or 6 yolks
150 g sugar ( or equal portions of sugar substitute can be used,
see below Note for method of converting)
approx.30pcs of lady fingers or
Savoiardi biscuits as shown in the photo,
1/3 liter brewed or instant coffee
around 1 tbsp white rum, cocoa powder
3 Eggs or 6 yolks
150 g sugar ( or equal portions of sugar substitute can be used,
see below Note for method of converting)
approx.30pcs of lady fingers or
Savoiardi biscuits as shown in the photo,
1/3 liter brewed or instant coffee
around 1 tbsp white rum, cocoa powder
Preparation:
1. Beat the eggs and sugar until creamy and fold this carefully to the Mascarpone cheese, set aside.
2. Dip the biscuits into the mixture of coffee and rum and set the biscuits into a glass container as the first layer.
3. Pour Mascarpone/Egg mixture to the top of the biscuits as second layer.
4. Add the dipped biscuits once more alternately with the cheese being the top layer.
5. Sift the cocoa powder onto the top layer until the whole surface of the Mascarpone is covered by the cocoa powder.
6. Refrigerate for 2-3 hours so the cheese gets stiffer before serving.
Note:
You can use sugar substitute in powder form... measure how many tbsp a 150 g sugar would make = then use the same amount of tablespoons sugar subsitute . The ratio for this is 1=1.
Enjoy this dessert, it is very delicious that you´d wish you won´t stop eating it!
Til next,
Mercy
